Every command supported by the PickupPal WhatsApp bot, with the exact format, purpose, and access requirements.

How to use commands

Send a command as a WhatsApp message. Every PickupPal command starts with two exclamation marks: !!.

Where commands work

Most commands require an activated PickupPal group. Commands labeled “DM or group” also work in a direct message to the bot.

Setup & accounts

Activate a group and connect players to PickupPal.

!!activateWhatsApp group

Activates the current WhatsApp group and returns its linkage code and setup instructions.

!!registerDM or group

Sends you a private, time-limited link to create a PickupPal account.

!!link CODEDM or group

Links your WhatsApp identity to an existing PickupPal account using a six-character code generated on the web.

Players & roster

Manage attendance, guests, captains, and availability.

!!joinActive group

Joins the active game. If it is full, PickupPal adds you to the waitlist.

!!outActive group

Leaves the active game or waitlist. The next waitlisted player is promoted when a spot opens.

Adds a guest under your name. Capacity and waitlist rules still apply.
